Located on the Basque Coast road midway between Biarritz & the Spanish border, in the seashore village of Ciboure, the Hotel La Caravelle enjoys panoramic views over the Bay of St Jean de Luz & has a beach immediately over the road.
Our eighteen-room hotel, dating from the start of the 19th century, once belonged to a local ship-owner. The original stone walls, oak beams & wooden spiral staircase lend an authentic atmosphere and a particular charm to this former family home.
The breakfast room & the seven full  sea-view bedrooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean with fishing boats and yachts passing the lighthouse at the nearby harbour-mouth.
Our crew's aim is to make you welcome and to introduce you to “La Caravelle” which has been our hotel & home for 3 generations.
